Pull out your tropical shirts, put on your sunglasses, go sockless in your boat shoes, wear your favorite beach hat, and join us for a weekend of relaxation in the tropics . . . just remember, life is what we make it! Each ticket holder receives a gift item at their starting winery. A self-guided tour “cruising” around beautiful Seneca Lake, visiting 29 unique participating wineries, many with their own tropical theme, over the 2-1/2 day weekend of “fun in the tropics”. This event is co-sponsored by the Elmira Corning Regional Airport. Regular tickets purchased in advance are $35 per person.
This wine and food pairing event was conceived to help break you out of the winter doldrums! Visit the Trail, enjoy some great wine, sample the tropically-themed dishes served at each of the participating wineries, and enjoy the many activities and themes that each winery takes special care to create. What better way to escape winter, than to cruise around the Trail sampling wines, eating unique food and having a great time with your friends and family!

Maple Weekend is one of the premier agri-tourism events in America. Almost 160 maple producers across New York State open their facilities to show people how maple syrup and related maple products are made from the tree to their table.
This fantastic, family-oriented event takes visitors back to their agricultural roots as they learn how a clear, water-like sap becomes a golden brown nectar.
Visitors tell us they enjoy the many different locations for the event because each producer has something different to teach and entertain the guests. Whether it’s horse and wagon rides into the woods, farm animal petting areas or pancake breakfasts, there is something for everyone at Maple Weekend.
The best part of every visit though is chance to sample maple syrup and other products to see what all the fuss is about.
Dave Schiek is our favorite producer and is just a couple of miles away. For the Maple Weekends he will be having hayrides to the woods where you can see the maple taps and sap collection system. His saphouse will be open where you can see sap boiling to syrup (the smell is amazing!)
