Keuka Spring Vineyards’ Music and Wine Series kicks off Sunday, July 28 with the band Agonal Rhythm. Based in the Penn Yan and Geneva area, Agonal Rhythm is a popular band that plays upbeat, danceable tunes. Music starts around 1 pm and goes through the afternoon. In addition, Dave Morgan from Blue Heron Acres will be serving Kobe beef brisket sandwich plates for lunch before and during the event. The event is free to attend.
A new performer to the winery, Distilled, will play on Sunday, August 18th. This is a local duet which plays soft rock tunes. In addition, Chef William of Chef William Creations is scheduled to sample some of his products with Blue Heron Acres also providing lunch this day.
Next is the ever popular band Kickin’ Back out of Fairport, NY on Saturday, August 31. Their music is perfect for enjoying some chilled wine on a summer’s afternoon taking in Keuka Springs’ commanding view of Keuka Lake.
The last band in the series is scheduled for Sunday, September 8th. The Galtee Mountain Boys play sing-along Irish folk tunes.
All of the music events are free and open to the public. Wine by the bottle and glass is available, as well as local cheeses, sausage, crackers, and snacks for picnics. Look for Blue Heron Acres’ Kobe beef and Berkshire pork sandwiches for sale at all of the events. Music begins at 1 pm each afternoon. Guests are encouraged to bring chairs, pop-up tents, or blankets to sit on. All events are subject to change based on weather conditions.
